The ground floor book drop will be inaccessible to the public beginning Tuesday May 5th during vital elevator upgrades and will reopen in the near future. A temporary book dropbox has been installed at the main entrance at the front of the building. The Children’s Room and the 2nd floor Nonfiction section are closed during vital HVAC upgrades, and will reopen in the near future. Please check our website and social media for updates. Patrons will not be able to browse in these areas during this time. Our elevator is out of service until further notice. If you need assistance, please call 978-664-4942. The library is now open! No appointment necessary! Come in and see us at your convenience, as we have returned to our normal open hours.

Effective Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 7:00 AM, the public is required to wear a facial covering when entering Town Hall, Flint Memorial Library, or Edith O’Leary Senior Center. 

This applies to general business and when attending public meetings, and does not apply to individuals with a medical condition that prohibits wearing a facial covering.  Employees will be wearing facial coverings when interacting with the public indoors. To the extent possible, social distancing will also be in effect.

The Library is open as follows:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Please do not enter the library if you are sick!

Contactless pickup of holds also remains available upon request. Otherwise, holds will now be available at the main level circulation desks. If you wish to have contactless pickup of holds, please phone the library at 978-664-4942, ext. 1.
