Welcome to the Library of Things!

A “Library of Things” is a collection of non-traditional items that provides library cardholders access to a variety of items, many of which might be used infrequently. Beyond being a fun collection of interesting items, the Library of Things movement reinforces a shared community vision of reducing consumption and the potential for wasted resources. You can now check out non-traditional items—such as a telescope, a karaoke machine, or a light therapy lamp—with just your library card!

We have over nearly 50 items available for checkout, and the collection is growing each week. Click below to look through our catalog and place a hold! All items must be checked in and out at our circulation desk, and you must be 18 or older with a library card in good standing. Patrons will be required to sign the Patron Equipment Agreement form in order to check out a Thing.
